It was a performance for the ages for Slovenia’s Veronika Ferjancic, as she led her side to a 54-47 victory over Türkiye in the Quarter-Finals. Ferjancic had 13 points, but her dominance at both ends of the floor helped, with 4 offensive rebounds and 11 total rebounds. She was also the human rim protector with 5 blocks.
Marta Sucic helped Croatia defeat Bulgaria 96-60 in their Classification 9-16 encounter. Sucic went for 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the win.
Reynal's Spanish teammate Angela Rojas was the conductor in Spain's win over Serbia. She ran the floor perfectly, as she finished with 12 points, 7 assists and 5 steals in just 16 minutes of action.
It was disappointment for hosts Romania, as they lost 70-46 to Czechia, relegating them to Division B next summer. Carina Ungureanu flirted with a double-double before settling on 8 points, 14 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks in a solid all-round performance.
