PIESTANY (Slovakia) - There was a double celebration for Eflin Nalli, as she not only helped Belgium secured promotion but was also named MVP of Tournament 1 of FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket 2026, Division B.
Nalli finished the tournament averaging 11.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 steals, capped with a solid 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals in a 75-57 win over Sweden in the Final.
That effort followed a 20-point effort in the Semi-Final against Slovakia, which further showcased her offensive brilliance, but what was most impressive was her ability to bounce back after a tough start to the tournament.
Though both games ended in double-digit victories for Belgium, Nalli struggled to get going, managing just 5 points against Switzerland before an improved 9 points came against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
But as soon as the knockout stage came, Nalli burst into action, and it only benefited Belgium - to the Division B, Tournament 1 win and all the way to promotion.
