MUNICH (Germany) - The stage for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 is now set with the event tipping off in Tampere and Riga on August 27 and games in Limassol and Katowice starting a day later.
Some of the biggest global stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic are suiting up for their national teams, headlining a talented cast of players for the event which includes 28 NBA players from 18 NBA franchises.
Let's dive in and take a look at the NBA players who have been included in the final rosters of their respective national teams this summer.
"I think it’s great to see that all the NBA stars want to play."
Serbia and France are two of the tournament's biggest favorites also because they have the most NBA players - both with four stars. Serbia are led by former NBA champion and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic while France have the 2024 NBA Draft number one selection Zaccharie Risacher.
"I think it's great to see that all the NBA stars want to play. They want to represent their country. I am really excited about playing against those guys in EuroBasket," Risacher said.
Three other countries have multiple NBA players in their ranks.
Germany's roster includes three NBA players, topped by world champions Dennis Schroder and Franz Wagner; while Türkiye have the young star duo of Alperen Sengun and Adem Bona; and Georgia's squad is highlighted by the big man combo of Goga Bitadze and Sandro Mamukelashvili.
