RIGA (Latvia) - One more night and then Türkiye and Germany will tip off in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Final and the continental champion will be crowned.
Speculation and debate rages on who will win: Türkiye to claim their first European title or Germany to add a trophy to their championship from 1993.
One day after the Semi-Finals victories, the teams met the media one final time before the big game to answer questions about what to expect on Sunday at the Arena Riga.
Here are some of the highlights from the press conferences with the head coaches and team captains.
Ergin Ataman (Türkiye)
"We have played a perfect tournament so far. I believe that every game that we played, we played with the same tempo, the same aggressiveness. We are ready to win the European title."
"We have much respect to the German team, which is the last FIBA World Cup champion. They have very experienced players who have played together the last four or five years at a very high level. But I believe my players will be 100 percent ready tomorrow."
"Our biggest advantage is that so far we have played very important games against big teams - Serbia, Latvia and Greece. And every game we played with the same strategy that we will use tomorrow as well. We will not do anything special."
"I don't like to lose in the Final. If I am in the Final, I will win."
Cedi Osman (Türkiye)
"We expect a real battle tomorrow. Two unbeaten teams will meet in the Final. I believe it will be a very fun game. We are ready. We have worked a lot for this moment. And everybody is excited. We're going to play against a very good team. We respect them a lot but tomorrow we're coming to do our best, give everything we got and win this EuroBasket."
"They have a great roster with great players like Franz (Wagner), (Dennis) Schroder, (Daniel) Theis, (Andreas) Obst. They have a great roster. But we are also a great team and we have shown in this tournament that we can played against favorited teams like Serbia, Greece, Latvia. We will go out there and play our best game."
Alan Ibrahimagic (Germany)
"These are two teams who have played really good tournaments so far and deserve to be in the Final. I expect it to be a tough fight and we are confident about our qualities and we will try to play our game and win it."
"The quality of the team and depth of the roster for sure is one of our advantages but for me even more is being a team - unity, determination, confidence, focus - a combination of these factors which makes us really really good."
"What this team, this generation has achieved the last three, four years makes them, makes the German national team even stronger. But on a given night, the determination, energy and passion play a huge role too."
Dennis Schroder (Germany)
"(Winning the title) would be really big. It would be special for German basketball and everybody is ready for the challenge. But that would mean a lot for sure."
"(Türkiye) have played a great tournament. Alperen Sengun is the head of the snake. There's a reason that he's an All-Star in the NBA."
"I think it's a very good opportunity to put Germany back on the map again and write another chapter this summer for our federation."
"Türkiye will probably have a lot of fans and it will be a like a road game. But that is okay. We always play well in those kinds of environments."
