Myles Hesson is the main reason for Vucevic's heartbreak. The forward tallied 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and pushed Great Britain to their first EuroBasket win since 2013. However, it was not enough for qualification and GB are also ending their journey here.

As Türkiye comfirmed their title intentions and beat Serbia 95-90 in a battle for the top spot in Group A, Alperen Sengun had his own head-to-head bout with Nikola Jokic. He came out on top with a near triple-double of 28 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists in a huge win that saw Türkiye remain unbeaten.

However, he had big help from his backcourt partner Shane Larkin, who produced his best game at the event. The Anadolu Efes legend drained five shots from the distance for 23 points, also dishing out nine dimes for an efficiency of 29.
