LISBOA (Portugal) - Portugal have officially confirmed their 12-man roster for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025, headlined by Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta and Travante Williams.
Head coach Mario Gomes finalized the squad following their final test ahead of their return to Europe's flagship competition, having secured a return to the Final Round after a 14-year wait.

Excluding the last game against club side Sporting CP, Portugal played five games and finished the preparation campaign with a 3-2 record against national team opposition with wins over Spain, Iceland, and Sweden.
A full generation of Portuguese fans have gone without seeing their heroes on the continental stage. But that is past now as Coach Mario Gomes' men secured a spot on the big stage for the first time since 2011, when they finished 21st.
It will be their fourth appearance in Europe's flagship event.
Portugal will play the Group Phase in Riga, alongside Serbia, Latvia, Türkiye, Czechia, and Estonia in Group A.
They will begin their campaign against Czechia on August 27.
