PRAGUE (Czechia) - Czechia has announced its final roster ahead of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, headlined by Atlanta Hawks guard Vit Krejci.
However, there is a notable absentee. FC Barcelona veteran and former NBA guard Tomas Satoransky has been forced to withdraw from this summer's tournament due to a back injury, leaving a dent in Czechia's plans.

That leaves the keys with Krejci, who is coming off a solid season with the Hawks in the NBA, where he played a shade over 20 minutes a game, averaging 7.2 points on 43 percent shooting from three-point range.
Despite the loss of Satoransky, as well as Jan Vesely, Czechia heads into EuroBasket with confidence, having won their final two preparation games ahead of their foray into Riga, where they will play in Group A.
Indeed, their finish to the preparations was welcomed, as Czechia had lost their first four games before two wins against Georgia calmed the nerves.
The Czechs will open their Group A campaign against Portugal on Wednesday, August 27, at 12:45 CET, followed by games against Türkiye, Estonia, Serbia, and the hosts, Latvia.
