ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - Türkiye took their unbeaten record to 8-0 in the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
They resumed their campaign in impressive fashion, as they beat Lithuania 94-66 in Istanbul on Friday, before following with a dominant 73-110 victory on the road against Iceland - becoming the first team from Europe to qualify for Qatar 2027.
Cedi Osman top scored with 22 points on 7-for-10 shooting in the opening win, before adding a further 17 points alongside Onuralp Bitim in Reykjavik.
