    MIES (Switzerland) - A total of 24 games have been played so far during this international break, and another eight await on Monday.

    Spain and Türkiye are the only two teams with a chance to climb to 4-0 across Groups A, B, C and D, while Denmark, Romania and Switzerland are looking to get off the mark.

    With every result carrying through to the Second Round, each game has the potential to make or break a nation's hopes of eventually reaching the World Cup.

    • Lithuania host Iceland at 1-2 in Group D. They already have more defeats now than in the previous two World Cup Qualifiers First Rounds combined (11-1).

    • Elvar Fridriksson's 34 points on Friday were his personal best in this competition, and he has now scored 25+ points in six games, more often than any other player.

    • Denmark travel to Georgia looking to speed up the game. At 15.0 fast break points per game, they are leading that department in all of European Qualifiers.

    • Only Luka Doncic (4) has more 20-5-5 games than Tornike Shengelia, who had 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists against Denmark in their previous matchup on Friday, his third such game in the Qualifiers.

    • Greece lost to Montenegro on Friday, but never lost back-to-back games in this competition. At 35 steals in the Qualifiers, they are eight steals clear of everybody else in the European Qualifiers. Montenegro, meanwhile, have seen their opponents pick up 32 steals, the most in this competition.

    • If Türkiye defeat Serbia, they will match their best winning run in the Qualifiers with five straight wins. The first such run happened in 2018.

    • Ognjen Dobric (Serbia) has scored 10+ points in three of his last four Qualifiers games, after getting only three points in his first five appearances in this competition.

    • Bosnia and Herzegovina travel to Switzerland with a chance to improve their road record. They are 1-12 in their last 13 Qualifiers games on the road.

    • Italy host Great Britain on Monday. Their last three home games: 1-2. Previous nine: 8-1.

    • Spain and Ukraine match up for the sixth time in the Qualifiers. Ukraine won the first game in 2018, but Spain took the last four against Ukraine.

    • Ukraine when they allow 80+ points: 0-10. Ukraine when they keep opponents under 80 points: 8-1.
