Groups C and D have a few games that were rescheduled from Window 2 to be played on June 29, before immediately getting into the thick of Window 3 action in July.
As many as four teams can be fast-tracked into the Second Round, while another stares at the daunting danger of early elimination.

Group C - JOR, IRI, IRQ, SYR
The two Group C favorites, Jordan and Iran, have lived up to their billing so far. Jordan, in particular, have been untouchable - topping the group with a perfect 3-0 record. Team Melli remain solid as ever, even if blemished by the single loss to the Falcons.
Meanwhile, Syria and Iraq are locked in their own head-to-head battle for third place, and stay in contention for the Second Round.

With three teams nursing identical 2-1 records, Group D is arguably the most evenly matched.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon are all fighting for dominance, while South Asia’s sole representative - India, are still searching for their maiden World Cup Qualifiers win.
By virtue of hosting the 2027 global showpiece, Qatar are also assured of a spot in the Second Round of the Qualifiers.
