In that game, Mexico set the World Cup Qualifiers record with 28 three-pointers, with Andriassi knocking down seven from long range to finish with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and an efficiency rating of 35, the highest of the day. First Round MVP Joaquin Rodriguez once again showed why he is one of Uruguay’s key players. The shooting guard finished with 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 block for an efficiency rating of 34, although his team came up short against the Bahamas. Experienced Bahamas guard Buddy Hield showcased his scoring ability from long range yet again. Domnick Bridgewater perfectly complemented Hield’s offensive production with an all-around performance. Andres Feliz rounded out the group of standout performers with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals and 1 block for an efficiency rating of 27.
