MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Americas Qualifiers Window 4 concludes on August 31 with six games. Canada (7-0) is the only undefeated team remaining and will have a chance to secure their spot in Qatar once and for all.
Canada, along with Argentina (6-1), USA (6-1), Dominican Republic (5-2), Mexico (4-3) and Bahamas (3-4), have the opportunity to close out this opening stage of the Second Round with a 2-0 record. The remaining teams will at least be looking to finish 1-1 and avoid falling into a dangerous slump at this stage of the competition. USA have made more than 10 shots from behind the arc in six of their seven games in the World Cup 2027 Qualifiers – only Mexico have made more 3-pointers (13.6 per game) than the USA in this qualification in the Americas (12.3).
Hansel Atencia and Braian Angola have both scored more than 20 points in their last two games with Colombia in the World Cup Qualifiers; Angola is now one of the only two players in the Americas with multiple games with more than 30 points scored in the Qualifiers (2 - also Jasiel Rivero).

Dominican Republic have grabbed 16.3 offensive rebounds per game in the World Cup 2027 Qualifiers, the most among all teams still competing in the Americas.
Felipe Haase (Chile) has grabbed 9+ rebounds in each of his last three games in the World Cup Qualifiers, for an average of 12.3 rebounds per game in that span, after grabbing 9+ rebounds in only two of his first 10 appearances.
BAH vs. PAN
Panama are on a six-game losing sequence when playing outside of their territory in the World Cup Qualifiers, allowing more than 100 points in two of their last such three games.
Bahamas have tallied 20+ assists in each of their last three games in the World Cup Qualifiers but have never had a longer sequence of such games in the competition.
MEX vs. BRA
Brazil lost their most recent game in the World Cup Qualifiers (90-94 v Dominican Republic) but haven’t lost both games in a single window since August 2022 when they lost against Puerto Rico and… Mexico.
