DAKAR/RADES (Senegal, Tunisia) - Groups E and F played their second games on Friday and Saturday, respectively in Dakar and Rades.
Once again, a group of five players delivered jaw-dropping performances. We want to know which player you think starred the most.
Here's how these players performed and what caught our eye - and maybe yours, too.
Yves Missi of Cameroon has become an undeniable force.
The day after the Indomitable Lions secured a much-needed win over Nigeria, Missi played a pivotal role in their 83-61 victory over hosts Tunisia.
He dominated at both ends of the floor, achieving his first double-double of the campaign with 19 points and 14 rebounds, and establishing himself as one of the standout players of the second day of Group E's action.
In Friday's opening game of Group E, Marial Shayok made the most of his 26 minutes and 19 seconds on the court, propelling South Sudan with his dominant offensive performance.
The shooting guard sank seven of his 16 shots to finish with a game-high 19 points. He led the Bright Stars of South Sudan to an 82–79 victory over Nigeria, a result that saw them climb to second in the group with a 6–2 record.
Mahamane Coulibaly proved to be Mali's key offensive player, providing lethal shots and creative assists.
He dished out 10 assists, scored 10 points, and thwarted two DR Congo offensive plays with his two steals, helping Mali to secure a 101-76 victory.
When it comes to giving their all, few can match Jean-Philippe Dally. Once again, he propelled Côte d'Ivoire to victory — their seventh in eight games.
Dally's 13 points, seven rebounds and two steals were instrumental in securing the Ivorians' 72-66 victory over Egypt.
Brancou Badio lived up to expectations in Saturday's highly anticipated game between hosts Senegal and the reigning African champions, Angola.
In a game with 22 lead changes, the home team trailed by one, 82-81, in the final minute. Pape Ndiaye found Badio wide open on the weak side, and the new Panathinaikos player sank a much-needed three-pointer to secure the 84-82 win.
Badio shot 3-for-6 from behind the arc, dished out eight assists, and derailed the Angolan offense with a steal, finishing with a game and team-high 24 points.
