RADES (Tunisia) - As four days of action in the opening window of the World Cup African Qualifiers came to a close, with all eight teams in action, incredible individual performances continued. We have selected five players whose performances were particularly notable, but we would like to hear your opinion. Vote for your player of the day from the selection below.

    Jeremiah Hill (Cameroon)

Hill, Cameroon's primary scoring and playmaking option in his two years with the team rose to occasion, dropped a game-high 15 points, tied with teammate Jordan Bayehe. The duo led the side to victory over South Sudan. Hill converted 3-of-10 from deep, adding one from inside, while adding four of five from the charity stripe for the final tally. He added six assists, five rebounds, a steal and block to keep Cameroon ahead as South Sudan fought for a second half comeback, coming four points short.

    Ivan Almeida (Cape Verde)

For two decades, Ivan Almeida has continued his stellar show for Cape Verde and tonight was no different as he led his side back to victory, beating Libya to go 2-1. He scored 12 points, four less than top scorer and brother Joel, with a 4-for-10 shooting, adding six rebounds and as many assists. Two steals and blocks completed his performance for 18 in efficiency rating.

    Souleymane Boum Jr (Guinea)

As Guinea went 3-0, Boum Jr, on his second rodeo with the Guineans after the 2025 AfroBasket scored 22 points as Guinea beat former African champions Tunisia to remain perfect. The point guard finished without being booked but went to the line 15 times, missing once. A 3-of-12 shooting mattered little as he added five assists, three rebounds and a steal for a team-leading performance.

    Ghayth Almaghribi (Libya)

Despite Libya going 0-3, their talents are undeniable and in their final game, power forward Almaghribi came alive for the only double-double in the clash, scoring 20 (8-of-14 shooting), one more than Adrees Zeew, while pulling down 14 boards. He added four assists to his numbers to finish with the day's second-highest efficiency rating of 29.

    Morris Udeze (Nigeria)

As Nigeria played for a roller-coaster overtime victory against Rwanda for their first win of the window, the Spain-based Power Forward barely put a foot wrong, shooting 10-of-11 from inside, adding 10 from 13 trips to the free throw line for 30 points, a scoring record for the opening window of the qualifiers. He added 11 rebounds and three assists in just under 36 minutes for the day's highest efficiency rating of 35
