Accessibility

The Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022 will take over the center of Antwerp in a unique basketball atmosphere, but we strive to make it an accessible world championship for all sports fans, including visitors with specific needs and requirements. In collaboration with INTER, the Private Foundation for Accessibility in Flanders, we have set up a number of initiatives.

 Accessibility

We want to support a smooth arrival for people with disabilities. This applies to those arriving by car as well as to those arriving by public transport. Through the section 'mobility information' you can find how you can get to the event by car, train, streetcar, bus and/or bicycle.

We also provide the necessary information from the city of Antwerp about the reserved parking spaces. In the Groenkerkhofstraat there are several parking spaces for people with disabilities.

 Wheelchair users

Through the website we provide a plan with specific information for people with disabilities. This includes adapted passageways, access paths, reserved seating areas, sanitary facilities, cash desk, payment and information points. A ground plan is provided with wheelchair accessible areas.

All passages are sufficiently wide (min. 1.50 m), free of obstacles and adapted to the expected number of visitors. Access paths to and on the event are level, contiguous, solid and slip resistant. Any differences in height will be eliminated with ramps.

 Info Point

The event is equipped with a dynamic info point. In the sun between the cash registers and the statue on the Groenplaats, you can contact a person, recognizable by a flag, for the necessary information regarding the accessibility of the event.

Support

If you need support during the event, please contact the stewards at tribune 2 for assistance.
