Semi-Finals Top Performers: Meesseman, Torrens, Cazorla, Gruda, Goree

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia) - It was a night to remember for Emma Meesseman at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 as she carried Belgium to their first ever title game with a towering Semi-Finals display.

The forward produced a typically majestic performance as Belgium completed an exciting 67-63 success against France. She finished with a performance efficiency valuation of 28  after registering 24  points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.

Sandrine Gruda did her best to save France as they launched a comeback bid, but they just fell short - despite the veteran scoring 17 points and pulling down 4 boards which saw her move to second in the all-time list for rebounds

Spain made the Final off the back of Alba Torrens rolling back the years with an epic 27-point show in the 69-60 victory against Hungary. The winger set a new record five triples in a Semi-Final and added 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

Maite Cazorla also impressed in the backcourt for Spain and joins her teammate in the lineup after she played a pivotal cameo with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

Cyesha Goree was the pick for Hungary as she continued her productive tournament with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in defeat.
