DanBi headlines Korea final 12 for Women's Asia Cup

SEOUL (FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017) - Veteran international campaigner Kim DanBi leads a talented cast of Korea's elite players at the FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017 in Bengaluru, India.

Korea are hoping for a return to the glory days, especially after Japan have dominated the last two editions of the tournament. Korea last won the Women's Asia Cup a decade ago in 2007, beating China, 79-73.

Park HaNa  Park HyeJin  Park JiSu  Sim SungYoung

DanBi, who was Korea's leading scorer in the FIBA Asia Women's Championship 2015, returns for her fourth tour of duty at Asia's highest level of Women's Basketball. Joining her as holdovers from the 2015 squad are Bae HyeYoon, Lim YungHui, Kang AJeong, Park HyeJin and Park JiSu.

JiSu is one of the most intriguing players on this list, given her extensive experience in international play at the tender age of 18. At 1.95m, she is one of the tallest players in the competition, and she is expected to have a stronger impact here than she did two years ago, when she averaged around 6 points and 4 rebounds per contest.
