Kim DanBi | Kim HanByul | Kim SoDam | Kwak JooYeong |
Park HaNa | Park HyeJin | Park JiSu | Sim SungYoung |
DanBi, who was Korea's leading scorer in the FIBA Asia Women's Championship 2015, returns for her fourth tour of duty at Asia's highest level of Women's Basketball. Joining her as holdovers from the 2015 squad are Bae HyeYoon, Lim YungHui, Kang AJeong, Park HyeJin and Park JiSu.
JiSu is one of the most intriguing players on this list, given her extensive experience in international play at the tender age of 18. At 1.95m, she is one of the tallest players in the competition, and she is expected to have a stronger impact here than she did two years ago, when she averaged around 6 points and 4 rebounds per contest.
Korea will be tested by powerhouse Australia in their first game before they take on Japan and Division A newcomers Philippines.
