Polynesian Cup round-up: The Cook Islands continue to dominate

(Women's) The Cook Islands defeats American Samoa, 92-27

The women's squad of Cook Islands had another sterling performance routing American Samoa, 92-27 to improve their record to 3-0.

Keziah-Brittany Lewis scored 19 points while Adoniah Lewis and Terai Sadler chipped in 17 points each.

American Samoa was suffocated by the COK's pressure defense and forced 32 turnovers compared to only 14 of the latter.

(Women's) Tahiti defeats Samoa, 76-53

Tahiti bucked off a strong start from Samoa to take a 76-53 victory and improve their record to 2-1.

Oceane Lefranc led the charge for the Tahitians with 19 points and 16 rebounds.

Aufui Sau scored 15 points for host Samoa which dropped their record to 1-2.

(Men's) Tahiti defeats Tonga, 102-80

Arii Meuel clocked in another fantastic performance setting a tournament-high 40 points including eight three-pointers to lead Tahiti to a 102-80 win over Tonga.

Heimoana Teamotuaitau and Reihiti Sommers added 18 and 12 points in their second win in as many games.

Tahiti relied on their sweet shooting from rainbow country converting on 15 triples on a 42 percent clip.

Obadaiah Paea paced the Tongans with 30 points while Marcus Alipate and Siale Bain-Vete chipped in 25 and 17 points respectively.

(Men's) Samoa defeats American Samoa, 99-63

Samoa overpowered a banged up American Samoa side with a 99-63 victory.

Ryan Paia scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the hosts to their second straight win.

Theodore McFarland, Ezra Tufuga and Sapeti Tufuga added 20, 17 and 14 points respectively.

Jeremiah Tuimaseve scored 22 points to pace American Samoa who suffered their first loss in the tournament.
