FIBA Asia Cup 2021 SEABA Pre-Qualifier to be streamed LIVE on social media

NONTHABURI (FIBA Asia Cup 2021 SEABA Pre-Qualifier)  -  Basketball fans in South East Asia have a new reason to rejoice.

Tipping off on 26th June, the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 SEABA Pre-Qualifier will be streamed live on FIBA Asia Cup's Facebook & Twitter pages and on FIBA's Youtube channel. National federations also have the option of streaming the games on their respective Facebook platforms.

This is yet another initiative by FIBA to reach out to fans of the game who are constantly on the move. With the games being streamed across Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, fans can now catch all the action live on their preferred social media platform.

Local fans can also throng the Mono Stadium 29 in Nonthaburi, Thailand, which is the venue for the event.

The four day competition featuring South East Asian teams Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Cambodia will conclude on 30th June.

Out of the six participating teams, four will qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Pre-Qualifiers later in September.

The SEABA Pre-Qualifier is a chance for teams to step out of the shadow of Philippines, which has been dominating the SEABA region for decades.

A total of 15 games will be played in a round robin format, tipping off with Indonesia vs Malaysia at 12:30 local time on 26th June. The full schedule was released exactly a month ago.

While Indonesia and Thailand start as favourites, Malaysia and Singapore are expected to make the going tough for Brunei and Cambodia.
