MUNICH (Germany) - There are now just 16 teams left in the 2023-24 EuroCup Women season after the conclusion of the Play-Off Round 1 on Thursday.

Melikgazi Kayseri pulled off the biggest upset by overcoming previously unbeaten Movistar Estudiantes across two legs, while Besiktas overturned a double-digit deficit from the first leg to advance.

There are eight different countries represented in the Round of 16 with former EuroCup Women champions Tango Bourges Basket and Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring included in the remaining field.

The Round of 16 matchups are as follows:

Tango Bourges Basket (FRA) vs. Besiktas (TUR)
London Lions (GBR) vs. Lointek Gernika Bizkaia (ESP)
Umana Reyer Venice (ITA) vs. VBW Arka Gdynia (POL)
Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring (TUR) vs. InvestInTheWest Enea Gorzow (POL)
Spar Girona (ESP) vs. Cadi La Seu (ESP)
TTT Riga (LAT) vs. Roche Vendee Basket (FRA)
NKA Universitas Pecs (HUN) vs. Melikgazi Kayseri (TUR)
Lattes-Montpellier (FRA) vs. BDS Dinamo Sassari (ITA)

The ties will again be played in a home-and-away format with the team ranked higher in the Regular Season earning home advantage in the second leg.

Matchups for the Round of 16 are scheduled to commence on January 11 with the return fixtures set to take place on January 18 ahead of the Quarter-Finals in February.
