EuroCup Women 2023-24 participating clubs announced

MUNICH (Germany) - The finalized list of clubs set to compete in the 2023-24 edition of the EuroCup Women were announced on Thursday.

A total of 48 clubs from across Europe registered for the upcoming campaign, with three more clubs set to join the competition from the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers.

The Regular Season of the competition will be played with 48 clubs, with 45 direct places in the Regular Season awarded and Qualifiers organized to determine the remaining three slots.

The Qualifiers will be played in a home and away series on September 21 and 28 in three pairings of two clubs each, with the winner of each pairing advancing to the Regular Season.

The remaining six registered clubs playing in the Qualifiers are:

The teams participating in the Qualifiers were sorted into seeded and unseeded pots based on the three-year ranking of clubs in the European Club Competitions, with the seeded clubs set to play the return leg at home.

The 2023-24 season will mark the first time the competition is played in a pan-European format, with a maximum of one club per country in the same group the only geographic restriction.

The draw to sort teams both for the Qualifiers and the Regular Season will take place in Munich, Germany on August 9.
