Dishing and swishing: Top Performers stuff the stats sheets

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – The second week of the EuroCup Women Regular Season was marked by stellar individual performances, with the Top Performers delivering some outlandish stat lines.

With each player on the Team of the Week registering an efficiency rating over 30, it was ACS Sepsi's Kristina Higgins to top them all with a ranking of 39. The US center dominated the paint with 21 points and 19 rebounds, also adding 5 steals, as her side upset Mersin 87-70 to get off the mark in Group D.

Samantha Whitcomb came the closest to Higgins' mark with an efficiency of 38. The Australian international shot the lights out, going 8-of-11 from long range, as BLMA combined for 17 threes in their 94-46 rout of Rutronik Stars Keltern. Whitcomb finished with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists to her name.

Basketball Nymburk's Chloe Wells showed she can do it all, filling the boxscore with 27 points, 7 assists, 7 steals, 6 rebounds and an efficiency of 36 to make sure her team stayed perfect with an 83-68 win at Cinkarna Celje.

The head-turning performances do not stop here, with Dora Medgyessy and Dragana Stankovic completing the lineup after posting season-highs which are likely to remain atop the statistical categories.

Medgyessy delivered a point guard masterclass in DVTK Miskolc's 97-87 triumph at Nantes Reze, dishing out 17 assists to go with her 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Meanwhile, Stankovic made sure there were no easy buckets for her opponents, swatting away 7 shots. She added 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting as well as 7 rebounds and 3 assists to lift Artego Bydgoszcz to an 85-63 win in Sodertalje.
