Snytsina flies into Top Performer honors

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - Belarus captain Katsiaryna Snytsina has flown into Top Performer honors with an all-round stat line, assuring Hatay maintain their unbeaten record in Group D.

The wing ended the 73-67 win over the visiting ACS Sepsi with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks, which was good enough to earn her an efficiency of 40, taking her well clear of any would-be challengers.

In a new-look Top Performers team this week, another earning her spot was Romanian international Claudia Pop. The power forward produced a 30-point, 5-rebound, 3-assist, 3-steal performance. However, it would not be enough to stave off a loss for Istanbul Universitesi, who were comfortably handled 104-72 by the visiting Basket 90 Gdynia.

Starring for Gdynia, and matching the 36 efficiency of Pop was Kahleah Copper, who ended the night with a game-high 31 points.

Under the baskets in this week's team is Clarissa Dos Santos. The Brazilian center was a colossus for the undefeated French side Flammes Carolo Basket who, on the back of Dos Santos' 20-point, 18-rebound double-double, produced a 32-7 third quarter to take down German hosts Rutronik Stars Keltern 85-57.

Completing the Game Day 5 team is Umea Udominate's Brianna Kiesel. The playmaker pulled the strings to perfection in her Swedish outfit's come-from-behind 86-72 win over Artego Bydgoszcz. When all was said and done, her stat line displayed 13 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
