Mexico bet on continuity for World Cup Qualifiers
MEXICO CITY (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019) – Mexico announced its 14-player preliminary roster for the first window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup, where the Mexicans will face Cuba and USA.

The preliminary list of Mexico combines the experience of Héctor Hernández and Lorenzo Mata; the return of Paul Stoll, Juan Toscano and Marco Ramos, as well as rookies Jonatan Machado and Alejandro Villanueva.
At the "Domo de la Feria" in León, Guanajuato, Mexico will receive Cuba on November 23. The Mexicans will then travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to face the United States on November 26.
Ramón Díaz, assistant of Sergio Valdeolmillos and coach of Capitanes of Mexico City in the Mexican National League, will lead the Mexican National Team in the games against Cuba and the United States.
The “12 Guerreros” of Mexico were drawn into Group C of Americas Qualifiers, where they will also face Puerto Rico, in the February 2018 window.
