There is no doubt about the talent on deck for Jordan here in this named roster. Seven of these players were recently playing in the finals of the domestic league. and they will look to carry on that confidence into national team play. The Qualifiers will also be an opportunity for "Falcons" to expand its talent pool with opportunities for younger, less-heralded players.

Like other countries playing in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers, the Jordanians are hoping that these games can help to groom and develop a whole new generation of basketball stars for the national team.

The first window of the Qualifiers pits Jordan at home in their first game against Sri Lanka at Prize Hamza Hall in Amman on 21 February. Their next game will then be played on 24 February in Astana at the Saryarka Velodrome against the Steppen Wolves.
