Where to watch the FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship 2023

AMMAN (Jordan) - There's no reason to miss out on all the action that the upcoming FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship 2023 is bringing.

The games of the 10-16 July festivities will be streamed LIVE on FIBA's official YouTube page, Fans from China, on the other hand, can also watch through Weibo and Douyin.

Except for the Division B meeting between Malaysia and newcomers Guam on 12 July, all the other 39 games will be aired in the aforementioned platforms.

Play starts on Monday, 10 July, with Korea and Syria tipping off the biennial competitions in a battle between Division A teams on 09:00 local time at the Prince Hamza Sport Hall.

Division B will open later that day with a clash between Malaysia and Iran at 15:30.

A total of 17 teams will play in Amman.

The topflight level features nine teams, which are split into two groups. Group A has reigning two-time champions Australia, Korea, Syria, Chinese Taipei, and Thailand.

Group B, on the other hand, has four participants, namely three-time gold medalists China, five-time finalists Japan, New Zealand, and the debuting Samoa.

The top four teams in Division A will qualify for the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024.

Eight teams, meanwhile, comprise Division B.

2022 third-placers Philippines, Hong Kong, Jordan, and Maldives are clustered in Group A, while Group B is made up of Malaysia, Iran, Singapore, and Guam.

Champions of the second level will get promoted to Division A for the 2025 tilt.
