RECIFE (Brazil) - Group Stage action at the FIBA AmeriCup 2022 has come to an end and there were some great performances in the first five days of games.

Through group play, Argentina's Gabriel Deck has led the tournament in scoring with 21.7 points, along with 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists per game and also a tournament-high efficiency rating of 22.7. He is currently shooting 70 percent from the field and scored a tournament-high 27 points in a 99-86 win against Puerto Rico on September 4.

Deck's teammate Facundo Campazzo also made the top performers and is averaging 13.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, a tournament-high 10.7 assists and 4.0 steals per game with an efficiency rating of 19.7. Campazzo dished out a tournament-high 15 assists against Puerto Rico on September 4. Both Campazzo and Deck are big reasons why Argentina went 3-0 in Group B.

Dominican Republic's Angel Delgado made the list after averaging 16.0 points, a tournament-high 10.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, while shooting 56.3 percent from the field with an efficiency rating of 20.0.

Canada's Dalano Banton led the team to a 2-1 finish in Group A after averaging 19.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, with an efficiency rating of 19.7. He has led Canada in scoring in two of their three games in group play.

Finally, Yago Santos from Brazil is a top performer from group play after helping the hosts to a 3-0 record in Group A with averages of 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game with an efficiency rating of 15.3.
