AmeriCup Quarter-Finals stage is set
RECIFE (Brazil) – The best eight national teams that advanced to the Quarter-Finals of the FIBA AmeriCup 2022 were defined with the closing of the Group Phase, this Tuesday, at the Sports Gym Geraldo Magalhaes in Recife, Brazil.
The teams that finished first and second in each of the three groups (A, B and C), plus the two best third parties, got their ticket to the Quarterfinals, which will take place this Thursday the 8th.

The matchups in the Quarter-Finals were determined based on the records of each team, so they are paired as follows:
- Best first place vs. second best third place.
- Second best first classified vs. best third place
- The remaining team in first place vs. the second team in second place.
- Best runner-up vs. second ranked team second
