AUCKLAND (FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017) - New Zealand are set to face a challenge for the ages next month, and Jillian Harmon will need to bring her "A" game.

Harmond's ability to score has been key for New Zealand in recent years and as the Tall Ferns seek their first FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup appearance since 1994, the New York native is expected to put the team on her back at next month's FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017 in Bengaluru, India.

A fearless competitor, the Beijing Olympian, who averaged team-highs of 14 points and 9 rebounds at last year's FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, will surely be a factor for New Zealand, who will make their FIBA Women's Asia Cup debut.

The Semi-Finalists at the Bangalore event will represent Asia and Oceania at next year's FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain.
