BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia has confirmed the schedule of the FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) Final 8 2024 on Tuesday, May 14.

Defending champions Manama banner the May 25 opener at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar against Lebanese side Sagesse at 21:00 local time in a battle between Group A teams.

That game serves as the nightcap of the first of two triple-header offerings of the pan-regional tilt's culminating event, to be opened by a Group B clash between reigning back-to-back Gulf League titlists Kuwait Club and South Asia representatives Tamil Nadu from India at 15:00.

The Group Phase will run from May 25 to 29, with the 27-29 playdates to feature twin bills. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout Semis on May 31.

The victors will then compete for the ultimate prize in the Final on June 1, while the losing sides will vie for a podium finish in the Third-Place Game set on the same date.

The two finalists will punch their tickets to the inaugural Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) which will be played from June 9-15, 2024 in Dubai.
