The Korean star forward leads the charge in nerveless away win against mighty China in Beijing

BEIJING (China) - 25-year-old Hyunjung Lee lived up to his 'Top Asian star to watch out for' billing, draining 9 threes in an epic away win over China - setting the World Cup Qualifiers all-time record.

Lee's near double-digit triples in the opening First Round matchup bettered both the previous Asian and World Qualifying record of 8 treys jointly held by 7 other players.

6 of Lee's outside makes came in the first half. He was able to add 3 more in the second in the inspiring victory ahead of the return home leg in Wonju on December 1.
