TTT Riga named first ever Proudly Woman Award winners

Introduced this year for the first time, the Proudly Woman Award celebrates those who have excelled in the activation and promotion of the Proudly Woman campaign that was launched last October.

TTT Riga landed the award due to engaging in multiple activities that have all be been impactful.
They gave unprecedented access to all their players, providing them them the platform to express themselves off the court, while also giving fans a unique opportunity to get to know more about them.
TTT Riga successfully demonstrated that clubs and players can have a positive impact in their communities that goes beyond the basketball court through their participation and fund raising in the 'Give Five 2021' charity project, with players Gunta Basko and Ieva Pulvere involved extensively.

The club also pushed the values at the core of the #ProudlyWoman campaign by consistently using creativity and connecting players and the community to a deeper level.
The club also created a new partnership with a local clothing brand to allow players to pick their favorite outfit to choose for every home game, putting a different spotlight on them so they could emphasize their own tastes.
While TTT Riga scooped the award, there were many other contenders and shining examples of how clubs and also players have embraced the initiative.
