SINGAPORE (Youth olympic Games) - FIBA's Kristian Santiago got Serb forward Stefan Popovski for an interview at the YOG.

The 2 meter-tall Belgrade-based Popovski is a regular fixture on the national-team of Serbia as he played on the U-16 and U-17 teams in the last two years.

FIBA:  How different is the 3-on-3 tournament from the 5-on-5 tournament you are usually playing in?

Stefan Popovski: It is completely new for us, it's very fast and obviously the better team wins. The shooters here are pretty good and I simply love the 3-on-3 as I love fast games!

FIBA:  You injured yourself yesterday after falling to the ground. There a lot emotions coming up in these kind of situations. How do you manage to stay calm?

Stefan Popovski: I tell myself to stay focused on the game, no matter what happens. It is sometimes a bit rough, but we are here to win.

FIBA:  What are your plans for your future regarding your career basketball-wise?

Stefan Popovski: Oh, I don't know, I was thinking a lot about that. I want to go to America, as this is my dream, but the European basketball is also very competitive, so I really don't know it yet, as there are many options for me.

FIBA: Who is your favorite player?

Stefan Popovski: I like Dirk Nowitzki because he is tall and he can play like a guard; can shoot and dribble. He is my favorite player by far!

FIBA: Thank you Stefan and all the best for your career!
