    Talented Masikewich headlines Canada roster

    TORONTO (FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2018) – Canada will be pinning their hopes at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 on the stellar talent of Brynn Masikewich.

    Last year at the FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship in Argentina, she was dominant for her country, leading the way in efficiency, points and rebounds as Canada made the Final.

    While she will be one of the top players to check out in Minsk there are also spots for Sarah Te-Biasu, Aaliyah Edwards,  Donna Ntambue and Merissah Russell . They all contributed more than 8 points per game in Buenos Aires, to highlight that Canada are about more than just Masikewich.

    Head coach Jodi Gram and her team are heading to Europe for preparation games against Latvia, China, and USA in Liepaja, Latvia.

    Canada will step out in Group D in Minsk and will go up against current holders, Australia, as well as Angola and Latvia.
