France head coach Lamine Kebe has included eight of the players who helped France to the title at last summer's FIBA U16 European Championship 2017, including MVP Killian Hayes and star point guard Theo Maledon.

The 18 players will meet from April 4-6 at INSEP headquarters in Paris for the next step of preparations for the U17 World Cup, which will run from June 30 to July 8 in Argentina.
France, who have been drawn into Group D with hosts Argentina, Croatia and the fourth placed team from the FIBA U16 Asian Championship, will later hold camps from May 29 to June 7 in Castelnau-le-Lez and June 15-21 in Voiron. The French, who will be competing in their fourth U17 World Cup, will play a preparation tournament June 8-10 and also have test games against Croatia on June 19 and 20.
