BENGALURU (FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017) - Chinese Taipei led very early, but China settled down and left no doubt in their decisive 102-63 victory on Day 2 at the FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017.

Chinese Taipei may have had Bao Hsi-Le manning the middle, but even she proved to be no match for the combined might of Team Dragon, which won the battle of the boards, 53-23, and outscored their foes, 66-20, in the paint.

1.90m forward Huang Sijing stepped up big time here, unloading 25 points in just 21 minutes to lead the way for China, while twin towers Li Yueru and Huang Hongpin scored 19 and 15 points respectively.

Bao struggled with foul trouble all night for Taipei, so they turned to Huang Ping-Jen and Lin Yu-Ting for their offense. They paired up for 25 points in the losing cause.

China can sweep Group A if they defeat DPR Korea tomorrow, while Chinese Taipei will duel with New Zealand for second place in the group.
