MUNICH (Germany) - When the trophy is lifted at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Riga, the next Most Valuable Player will also be revealed, adding their name to international basketball folklore.
That next MVP will either cement their greatness or join the elite club of international basketball history.
From Predrag Stojakovic to Drazen Petrovic, Nikos Galis, Arvydas Sabonis, and the youngest ever MVP winner, Modestas Paulauskas, who lifted the award back in 1965 at just 20 years old, the list is full of greatness.
The top three leading scorers in EuroBasket history - Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, and Tony Parker - have all captured the MVP trophy, with Nowitzki winning it in 2005, despite Germany falling short in the Final to Greece. Parker lifted France to the title in 2013 as he wowed the crowds in Slovenia en route to the individual accolade.
Gasol, the all-time leading EuroBasket scorer, has won the MVP award twice, in 2009 and again in 2015, as he helped Spain achieve success in both years.
Who is your favorite of them all?
