    TULCEA (Romania) - This year's edition of FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, Division B will once again provide the perfect platform for some of the continent's brightest talents to showcase their skills.

    Gabija Galvanauskaite - Lithuania

    FORWARD

    Birth Date: December 28, 2009 (16 years old) Height: 6ft 4in / 1.94 cm

    Coming off a sparkling double-double FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket 2026 and with FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers minutes logged, it's all you need to know about her phenomenal talent level. Possibly one of the most exciting prospects to ever come out of Lithuania, Galvanauskaite will light it up is a leading MVP candidate.

    Evgenia Toumpaniari - Greece

    FORWARD / CENTER

    Birth Date: November 9, 2009 (16 years old) Height: 6ft 0in / 1.84 cm

    Particularly impressive at FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket last year, Toumpaniari will drop anchor in the paint for Greece and be influential in their promotion bid. She has played in the Greek league for Proteas this past season so comes into this tournament with an even more hardened edge than in 2025 and having developed her post play.

    Laura Grunmann - Estonia

    GUARD

    Birth Date: July 21, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.78 cm

    After three consecutive youth tournaments averaging double-digit scoring returns, it's no surprise the guard played in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers. The fact she averaged more than 15 minutes per game speaks volumes about her skills and maturity. Grunmann has a do-it-all approach, scoring punch and will lead her team.

    Bo Guttormsdottir Frost - Great Britain

    FORWARD

    Birth Date: July 17, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 6ft 3in / 1.90 cm

    It's an amazing third edition of the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket for the forward. Having already posted double-digits at both of her previous tournaments, there's no doubt she'll lead the Brits. Looking to dominate, she'll draw on the experience of playing in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers and taking steps in the British top-flight.

    Siena Sanford - Norway

    GUARD

    Birth Date: July 9, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.78 cm

    Sanford will be the centerpiece for Norway because of her shooting range which she showed at the last edition when averaging 14 points per game. But she will also show her ability to create and on the defensive end where her country will need her. It's a package which has led to her playing in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers.

    Ioana-Vanessa Velcea - Romania

    GUARD

    Birth Date: March 1, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.78 cm

    The guard will carry a big chunk of Romania's hopes on her shoulders at this event and she should thrive on the responsibility as usual. She dropped more than 20 points per game at U16 last year and was the MVP of Division B in 2024. Skilled and smart, she was elevated to the senior team for the Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers.

    Maayan Gorin - Israel

    GUARD

    Birth Date: August 26, 2009 (16 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.77 cm

    The newest Israeli scoring machine to make a spalsh in FIBA youth events, Gorin poured in more than 20 points per game on her debut at the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket. Likely to step up this year, her offensive punch will still be considerable. Meanwhile, she will also help out on the glass and can create for her teammates, too.

    Michaela Oravcova - Slovakia

    GUARD / SMALL FORWARD

    Birth Date: June 19, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 5ft 9in / 1.76cm

    Coming straight from the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket, Division B, Orvacova underlined her scoring touch and range with her third consecutive double-digit points return at a FIBA youth event. She has continued her evolution with MBK Ruzomberok and that is showing in her game. Orvacova will no doubt be high on opponents' scouting reports.

    Polina Shchukina - Azerbaijan

    FORWARD

    Birth Date: May 28, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 6ft 1in / 1.86 cm

    A tremendous baller, the forward is the most talented in her country and already a primary contributor in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers. She recently showed her value at FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket, Division B with some typically outstanding work, leading her nation in efficiency, scoring, rebounding, blocks and steals.

    Laura Buckley - Ireland

    GUARD

    Birth Date: July 29, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 9in / 1.75 cm

    The main contributor for Ireland last year at U16, a cut and paste would suit both Buckley and Ireland coming into this competition. With more than 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, she did it all for her team and has been developing in her homeland with Limerick and was recently named Basketball Ireland Player of the Year.
