    WABC Level 1 coaching courses in Jakarta leaves participants pleased

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office - Asia in coordination with PERBASI ssuccessfully organized a World Association of Basketball Coaches (WABC) Level 1 coaching course in Jakarta.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office - Asia in coordination with the Indonesia Basketball Association (PERBASI) successfully organized a World Association of Basketball Coaches (WABC) Level 1 coaching course in Jakarta.

    The course, conducted by WABC instructor Milan Kotorac, was held from 21 - 26 February.

    Ari Adiska, a participant said: “I was very happy to be able to take part in this course. We were provided with good and easy-to-accept material. it was very good for coaches here to learn and share back to the coaches from their respective regions so that the quality of coaching in all regions improves. In the future, I hope PERBASI makes this event more often.” 

    Abdurrachman, another participant said: This course is very good and important. In this course, we learned how to be a good and great coach. Be a role model, for our students, and for their parents, too."

    These courses are part of the Regional Office’s continuous efforts to improve the National Federations, including the coaches, who are an integral part of basketball games.
