MUNICH (Germany) - The first day of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers third window is behind us.

The most efficient point guard of the day was Lithuania's newest NBA sensation. The 20-year-old Kasparas Jakucionis was sensational in his first game for the national team, putting up 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in a win over Great Britain.
The other guard position belongs to Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. Svi, as they call him in Ukraine, poured in 28 points, with 5 rebounds and 4 assists, earning a major win over Georgia to push Ukraine to the Second Round, currently at 3-2.
The rest of the five-men lineup belongs to the bigs. Luka Garza needed just 23 minutes to collect 27 points and 8 rebounds, being one of three players with an efficiency rating higher than 30 at 31.
Another one in that category was Jonas Valanciunas, getting 20 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks en route to an efficiency rating of 34.
Finally, the man with the highest efficiency rating and the most fantasy points on Thursday was Nikola Jokic. The Serbian superstar led his country to a road win over Switzerland with 22 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists and an efficiency rating of 35.
