RIGA (Latvia) - The penultimate day of action at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 is now behind us with Germany and Türkiye securing their places in the Final bout after coming out on top in their respective Semi-Finals.
Friday's games brought the fireworks as superstars once again showed up and delivered, with a few x-factors stepping up and sharing the spotlight.
But who did it best? We leave that decision up to you in the fan poll below!
Dennis Schroder stepped up when it mattered to lead Germany past Finland, 98-86, keeping alive their hopes of claiming the World Cup-EuroBasket double. He set the Semi-Finals record with 12 dimes, also draining four three-pointers for 26 points. The guard picked up 5 rebounds in the process for an all-around showing.
Daniel Theis also shined for the reigning world champs, providing a finishing touch to Schroder's playmaking. The center posted another double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds for an efficiency of 20.
Finland did not give up until the very end of that game as Olivier Nkamhoua proved be belongs on the biggest stage. The power forward showed great efficiency with only two missed shots en route to 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
Türkiye ran over Greece 94-68 to end their 24-year Final drought and Ercan Osmani was the unexpected hero. The big man took advantage of the defensive focus on Alperen Sengun as he drained six three-pointers on his way to 28 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Kostas Sloukas gave it all for Greece with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting from beyond the arc, but it was not enough to put up a fight.
