First, here are the contenders who lit it up the most.
The highest performance efficiency valuation of the second gameday was 33 and recorded by Damiris Dantas of Brazil. However, it proved to be bitter-sweet, since despite coming off the court with a brilliant 30 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists, her team were defeated 84-65 by Czechia.
Kennedy Burke was not far behind that valuation after her majestic contribution for Türkiye in their pulsating 75-67 success against Japan. She netted a game-high 25 points and only missed out on a double-double by one rebound.
Similarly, Leeseul Kang also attained a performance efficiency valuation of 29 after making it rain for Korea in their 82-52 triumph against Colombia. She equalled the all-time Qualifying Tournament record for triples by dropping 7 of them to produce 21 points. She also added 5 rebounds and 3 dimes.
Janelle Salaun had a perfect shooting night for France in their rampant 85-63 win against Euro rival Germany. She made all 7 attempts from the field and finished with a flawless 18 points to go with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile Julie Allemand was the architect of some super team basketball for Belgium and she did the business for the Cats in their 81-50 win against Mali in Wuhan. The guard racked up an all-action 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
