ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - Take a look back at the history of the Women's AfroBasket. You'll see a list of players who have made their mark on the tournament.

Only two players were named Most Valuable Player (MVP) twice among those who went above and beyond at the Women's AfroBasket.

Angola's Nacissela Mauricio won the most valuable player award two years in a row in 2011 and 2013 while Senegal's Aya Traore won the same award in 2009 and 2015.

Twenty years ago, Nigeria's Mfon Udoka was amazing. She led her country to win the 2005 African Championship, which was played in Nigeria. In the next few years, three other Nigerians won the most important individual award.

Before this year's Women's AfroBasket in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, which runs from July 26 to August, we invite you to share your thoughts on your favorite Women's AfroBasket MVP of the last 20 years.
