    MUNICH (Germany) - The first week of FIBA Europe Cup action in 2026 saw some exceptional performances across the continent.

    Aliaga Petkimspor stormed to a 3-0 record with a solid 82-61 road win over Peristeri Betsson. Yannick Franke was sublime - posting a stat line of 29 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals for an efficiency rating of 39.

    Casademont Zaragoza were impressive on the road as they defeated Dinamo BDS Sassari 94-75 to scoop their first win of the Second Round. Santi Yusta racked up 23 points, going 9-for-10 from the floor and pulled down 6 rebounds to lead Zaragoza.

    Aleix Font was outstanding for Surne Bilbao Basket as he proved to be the difference maker in his side’s 95-73 success over PAOK BC. Font shot 8-for-9 from the field; scoring 24 points and grabbing 5 rebounds, earning a rating of 30.

    BC Prievidza got their first win of the Second Round, with James Bishop in red-hot form from beyond the arc in their 94-82 victory over Sporting CP. Bishop went 6-for-11 from three-point land, going for 30 points and 4 assists.

    While Bishop was getting it done on the offensive end, his Prievidza teammate, Naje Smith, was protecting the rim, as he swatted away four shots against the Portuguese side. Smith also chipped in with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in a tremendous all-round showing.
