A loaded field assembles as the Women’s Series returns to Vienna

    VIENNA (Austria) - A stacked field featuring some of the biggest names in women’s 3x3 basketball will descend on Austria as the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Vienna 2026 takes place on June 12-14 alongside the fifth stop of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Vienna 2026.

    Top seed Rapid Bucharest (ROU) arrive in Vienna looking to continue their impressive season after establishing themselves as one of the most consistent teams on the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series. The Romanian side will face stiff competition from No.2 seed Canada (CAN), whose depth, physicality and international pedigree make them a perennial contender on the circuit.

    Among the favorites is No.3 seed Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL). The Mongolian powerhouse has been one of the standout teams of the season and will once again look to showcase the fast-paced style that has made them a fan favorite around the world.

    Germany (GER) enter as the fourth seed and will be eager to make a deep run after several strong performances this season, while Latvia (LAT) round out the top five and arrive with momentum and confidence against an elite field.

    Spain’s Madrid (ESP) are seeded sixth and will aim to challenge the tournament favorites, while home side Austria (AUT) will have the backing of the local crowd as the seventh seed. Beijing (CHN) add further international flavor to the event as the eighth seed.

    The depth of the competition continues throughout the field with Netherlands U25 (NED), France (FRA), Ukraine (UKR) and Mitsubishi Electric (JPN) all capable of causing upsets and making noise in Vienna.

    With established contenders, rising teams and national powerhouses all in action, fans can expect another thrilling chapter in the Women’s Series season.
