Vienna edge King Szczecin; Prievidza impress from beyond the arc

BC Vienna hung on to bag a 96-93 triumph over Polish side King Szczecin in a thrilling battle that could have gone either way.

Seemingly home and dry, Vienna were pegged back in the final seconds by the visitors, who cut the deficit to three with seven seconds left and, after a successful coach's challenge, had a chance to take the game to overtime, but Zahir Porter's three missed the mark.

Luka Kures shot 8-for-9 from the field for his 24 points for Vienna. Noah Reynolds was one of three players who had 16 points for the visitors.

BC Previdza found a good rhythm from three-point range as they defeated LANDAU Lions 108-84 in Group G.

The Slovakian side hit 15 triples, with Frankie Policelli going 7-for-10 from beyond the arc, as he led the way with 23 points and 7 rebounds, while Christyon Eugene added 21 points and 8 assists.

Kolossos H Hotels BC stayed perfect in the Regular Season, as they overcame Gence BC 80-62 in Group C.

The Greek side led for all but 17 seconds of the game, dominating their counterparts with solid execution and making their free throws count, going 13-for-15 from the stripe, whereas Gence countered by going 20-for-30 from the line and shooting a subpar 32 percent from the floor.

Ezra Manjon led Kolossos to their second win with 19 points, while fellow Greek side Mykonos Betsson BC overcame an early deficit to see off Fribourg Olympic Basket 80-65.

Elsewhere, FIATC Girona improved to 2-0 as they overpowered Coretec Oostende 91-76. Mac McClung shot a superb 9-for-13 from the field for a game-high 22 points for the visitors.

SLUC Nancy Basket also scored their second win in Group D after beating BC Parnu 84-61 on the road. Carlos Marshall led the victors with 20 points, supported by a double-double from Stephane Gombauld, who poured in 12 points and 11 rebounds.
