INCHEON (FIBA Asia Championship for Women) - Middle Asian nation Uzbekistan signed off their campaign in Level II beating Vietnam on Thursday.

"Overall we have nothing to complain," said player-cum-assistant coach of the team Lyudmila Lebedeva. The win was the Uzbeks' third win, having lost to Hong Kong and India.

"Against Hong Kong, our players were too jet-lagged. And against India, we missed it by a whisker," she said. "If you take into account those factors, I think we have done extremely well."

"We did have some starting trouble. But once they girls got into their rhythm they played according to what we had planned," Lebedeva said.

"Our players have very little exposure. How do you improve without playing against good international teams on a regular basis."

"But I think we are now moving ahead. Coming to this Championship is a very positive move. It's been a great experience for the girls," Lebedeva said. "I think if we continue like this, we can come back next time around far better."
