NEW YORK (NBA) - Team USA's two shooting guards went head to head in Miami and it was Dwyane Wade who came out on top as the Heat beat Paul Pierce's Boston Celtics 107-104.
Wade had 30 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 26 to help the Heat overturn a 25-point deficit in the second half.
Pierce had the game-high score with 34 points, and he drained a deep three-pointer with six seconds to go to make it 105-104, but Jason Williams sank two free throws to seal it for Miami.
Seattle's All-Star Ray Allen scored 12 of his 26 points in the final 12 minutes to lead the SuperSonics to a 102-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, who were without leading scorer Allen Iverson.
Seattle's French center Johan Petro had 12 points and seven rebounds in the win.
Mike Dunleavy Jr scored 17 of his 24 points in the final quarter to lift the Golden State Warriors to a 105-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Rookie Ike Diogu added 21 points off the bench.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have sent Lithuanian forward/center Martynas Andriuskevicius to D-League team the Arizona RimRockers. Andriuskevicius, a second round draft pick of the Orlando Magic in 2005, has played a total of nine minutes in six games for the Cavs this year.
