    HERAKLION (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - Reigning champions United States picked up another comfortable victory at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship, beating Egypt, 92-50, to improve to 3-0 atop Group A. Five USA players scored in double figures as the Americans led from start to finish. Egypt claimed third place in the group with a 1-2 record.

    Turning Point: The USA were up 24-17 early in the second quarter when they reeled off 16 straight points to open a 40-17 advantage.

    Stats Don't Lie: The USA defense held Egypt to just 28 percent shooting and forced 22 turnovers, turning those into 25 points. The Americans also had 52 points off the bench compared to just 27 from Egypt.

    Game HeroHarry Giles was one of three Americans with 13 points while also collecting 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal.

    The Bottom Line: United States ended the first stage of the competition atop Group A and will next take on Argentina in the Round of 16. Egypt actually did a good job rebounding against the bigger Americans, losing the rebound battle just 47-46. They will next face Spain in the knockout stage.
