PROVIDENCE (NCAA) - Brown University named Craig Robinson as it men's basketball coach on Thursday.
Robinson succeeds Glen Miller, who left on April 26 to take the same position at Ivy League rival Pennsylvania. Miller coached Brown for the last seven years and compiled a 54-44 record in conference games.
A two-time Ivy League Player of the Year for Princeton in 1982 and 1983, Robinson spent the last five years as an assistant coach under Bill Carmody at Northwestern.
"I am extremely happy to be given the opportunity to help Brown University win an Ivy League championship," Robinson said.
